The Interagency Program for Assistive Technology (IPAT) is a non-profit organization, designated by the Governor as the implementing entity for the Statewide Assistive Technology Program. IPAT receives federal and state dollars to conduct AT activities, engages in additional services on a fee-for-service basis, and actively seeks other funding through contracts or grant awards.
IPAT is governed by a Board of Directors, and is provided guidance in program development through a Consumer Advisory Council. The Council is comprised of individuals and agency staff who represent all ages, disabilities, and geographic regions of the state. IPAT strives to bring assistive technology into the lives of all state residents with AT needs, through its programs and services.
